The Mount Seymour Seniors Residence is located in North Vancouver, and is comprised of
146 independent residential units and a wide range of amenities and services for seniors. The project is being designed with the objective of achieving a LEED Gold standard. The building’s design in part is derived from the desire to minimize heat loss. The concept on the north façade is to create a thermal blanket while on the south shading is used to reduce solar gain.
