The South Bonson Community Centre site is located along the Fraser River in Pitt Meadows, BC. This 2-storey, 11,000 sq.ft. building provides a variety of recreational and meeting spaces for the community. The building is designed to maximize energy and water efficiency, and to be constructed with materials with low environmental impact. Some of the wood used was reclaimed from a local historic barn. The project was built to LEED Gold certification.
