The Khalsa Diwan Society
of New Westminster, which dates back to 1919, commissioned RWA to
design a series of extensions to the existing temple to accommodate
their growing congregation. The proposed 2-storey additions extend
the building at front and back areas of the structure, featuring
a dramatic wood, brick and glass front entrance and mezzanine with
large windows and balconies overlooking the open spaces and surrounding
context.
