Bob Worden and Doug Ramsay started Ramsay Worden Architects in 1989 with a small group of employees with a common interest in carefully crafted buildings and human scaled, livable communities.  Thirty-three years later these architecture and urban design values are still the foundation of our work and some of those original employees are still with RWA Group.  We continue to look for new staff members who share our values and contribute new skills, perspectives and interests as we grow into the future.

RWA Group has a management structure with opportunities for growth and leadership.  With commensurate experience and knowledge, employees may join the RWA Group Associates and participate in office management, provide leadership and share company profits.

We have regular Lunch and Learns (pre-covid) that focus on keeping up with industry standards and best practices; share what’s new in the design world; brainstorm ideas for new projects; and sometimes share vacation photos.

SOCIAL EVENTS

Covid has changed the way we have fun.  In BC time (Before Covid) we had regular social events including Friday afternoon happy hour, summer outdoor staff parties, table tennis tournaments, celebrations for “new family members” (babies) and new staff.  We intend on resuming these events when it’s safe including our epic Christmas parties.
