This hillside development is set into an unusually steep mountainside location, and incorporates architectural language inspired by early West Coast Architects. Generous flying balconies and deep, sheltering overhangs respond to the rainy climate, consistent with Mid-Century West Coast modern design. The mass of the building is split to expose an outcropping of natural bedrock, and to reveal views to the mature forest above. Glass bridges clad in bird-safe glass float above, linking the two wings, and allow residents to experience the connection of the forested mountainside to spectacular ocean and city views to the south.
