Bob Worden and Doug Ramsay established Ramsay Worden Architects in 1989, practicing architecture and urban planning with care and imagination. The firm has developed a reputation for innovative design focused on producing livable buildings with a human scale that respects the patterns and character of the community.

In 2018 Bruce Ramsay, Allan Seppanen, and Stanley Hsu joined the partnership to create RWA Group Architecture, expanding the firm’s capacity for growth.

We are committed to sustainable, livable, innovative buildings with a human scale that respect the patterns and character of the community. We continue to expand our skills and expertise on all levels, translating this knowledge to our projects.

We are a group of creative individuals focused on building design and the many other design-related opportunities that working in an architecture provides. Wherever possible, we tap into our in-house creativity and curiosity to develop our website, social media content, rendering, and other presentation material.

Each project is unique, has its own needs, and may require specific tools. RWA uses a variety of digital programs to support the 2-D and 3-D creative process including Revit, SketchUp, Lumion and CAD. We value the non-digital and believe sketching is a great design and communication tool. Our office has a history of rendering with watercolour which we return to when the opportunity arises.

RWA Group is a team of experienced and dedicated individuals. Many of our staff has been with the firm since its inception. These experienced professionals are involved from initial stages of design through to completion. This process is a fundamental strength of our firm and continues to evolve as our firm grows into the future.
