About This Project

Kyowon Corporate Retreat and Training Centre

This corporate retreat in Korea is sited to retain the site’s natural drainage patterns. The landscape design focuses on ponds and streams that appear and disappear with the seasons. It was designed in 2002 and was the first timber frame building to be built in Korea in many years. The expressive timber frame was developed in collaboration with Fast and Epp Engineers.
